This Privacy Policy explains what information Albert (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Albert Telegram bot and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Albert around a simple idea: your conversations are yours.

What we collect

• Telegram account data. When you start the bot we receive your Telegram user ID, username and display name. We use them to create and manage your account.
• Conversation content. Messages you send to Albert (text and voice) and Albert’s replies are stored so the bot can keep the context of your conversation and remember what matters to you.
• Profile details you choose to share. Your preferred name, language and topics you tell Albert about are saved to personalise conversations.
• Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, together with the plan you purchased.
• Website form data. If you contact us through the feedback form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit.
• Website usage data. When you browse this website we collect aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics (see “Website analytics” below).

How we use your information

• To provide the Service: generate Albert’s replies, transcribe your voice messages and synthesise voice answers.
• To remember conversation context between sessions and send reminders you asked for.
• To manage credits, subscriptions and referral bonuses.
• To respond to your support requests and improve the Service.

AI processing

Albert’s replies, speech recognition and voice synthesis are powered by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI). Your messages are transmitted to these providers solely to generate a response and are subject to their data-processing terms. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as you use the Service. You can delete your account and all associated data — conversation history, profile, memory and reminders — at any time by sending the /deleteme command to the bot. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request deletion through the feedback form on this website.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to run Albert — AI providers (reply generation, speech processing), Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider — and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service, or when required by law.

Website analytics

On this website we use Matomo Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves. It helps us understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. This applies to the website only; it does not track your conversations with the Albert bot.

Matomo collects aggregated usage data such as the pages you visit, the website that referred you, and general device and browser information. Your IP address is anonymised, the data is stored on our own server, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. We do not use it to personally identify you.

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time using the control below. Your choice is stored in your browser, so if you clear your cookies you may need to opt out again.

Opt-out complete; your visits to this website will not be recorded by the Web Analytics tool. Note that if you clear your cookies, delete the opt-out cookie, or if you change computers or Web browsers, you will need to perform the opt-out procedure again.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.

The tracking opt-out feature requires cookies to be enabled.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow reasonable industry practices to protect your information.

Age requirement

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us and we will delete the data.

Changes and contact
