Terms of Use
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Albert Telegram bot and this website (together, the “Service”). By starting the bot or using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Albert is — and what it is not
Albert is an AI-powered companion for supportive conversation and self-reflection. Albert is not a licensed therapist, psychologist or medical professional, and the Service does not provide medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment or advice. The Service is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a crisis or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, stop using the Service and contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Credits, subscriptions and payments
- New users receive free welcome credits. Additional usage requires a Premium plan.
- Premium plans are purchased for a fixed period (week, month, 3 months or 6 months) and are paid via Stripe inside the bot.
- Plans do not renew automatically — when a period ends, you decide whether to purchase a new one.
- Premium usage is subject to fair-use limits (currently up to 120 responses per day), which we may adjust to keep the Service sustainable.
- If something went wrong with a payment, contact us through the feedback form and we will make it right.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to harass or harm others, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, to abuse referral or credit mechanics, or to resell access to the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. AI-generated content
Albert’s replies are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for the decisions you make; always use your own judgement and seek qualified professional advice for medical, legal, financial or other important matters.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect and how we handle it, including how to delete your data with the /deleteme command.
7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the bot. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
